The country road meanders through apple orchards and forest, reaching a gentle valley that stretches in the sun. Rounding a corner, the pasture turns to lawn, waterways sooth and sigh, gardens fragrantly wait, while sculpture stand their ground. Here cradled in seclusion, lies Paratiho - splendidly indulgent, where still the earth breathes and the sky has no end...

Separate from the main lodge are six large private suites, two to a cottage. Each has a fireplace, bathroom with private garden, large dressing room, separate bedroom, lounge and terrace.

The suites are well-placed on the grounds to give guests the utmost privacy. They look out over rural countryside, some with ponds in the foreground. Our simple focus is to provide the best of everything and offer a warmly personal experience. A spirit of gracious hospitality prevails and there are no formal dress requirements. The Lodge is a non-smoking residence and unfortunately is unsuitable for children unless the entire Lodge is booked by that guest.

To pamper you even further, we have created the spa - a magical place where relaxation and rejuvenation create an ambience of soothing peace. Paratiho's spa is a special place where you can escape from the fast pace of today's world, even if only for a short while. We offer our guests a broad range of treatments designed to soothe and relax the mind and body, from facials, manicures and massage to hairstyling, hydrotherapy treatments and body wraps. The Lodge's on-site recreational activities include a swimming pool; tennis court; golf putting green; petanque; croquet; a well-equipped gym complete with a sanarium (a cross between a sauna and a steam room with less steam and heat but the same effect); farm and native bush walks.

Per Suite, Per night rate: NZ$2000.00 + GST
Single Occupancy: NZ$1750.00 + GST

Nightly rates are based on double occupancy and are inclusive of daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, all beverages,wine and minibar plus use of all on-site recreational facilities; swimming, tennis, putting green, petanque, croquet, gymnasium and sanarium (sauna/steam room).
