The whole of Nugget Point resort has recently been renovated
to enhance its natural charm. The accommodation is now a superlative
mixture of rooms to suit the most discerning traveller. All
rooms are open plan suites with large panoramic views and balconies
with seating to enjoy the Southern Alps' clean fresh air. We
start with garden view junior suites as Nugget point Resort's
standard suites then to spectacular Shotover River view junior
suites as the next upgrade.
JUNIOR SUITES
Our Junior Suites have a bright, airy, open plan room incorporating
the generous living area and the bedroom facilities in one.
The room has a balcony over looking the Shotover River and mountain
landscape, sofa, easy chair, desk and chair, TV/fridge cabinet,
mini bar, and tea/coffee facilities.

ONE
BEDROOM EXECUTIVE SUITE
The One Bedroom Executive Suite is bright and spacious, with
an open plan incorporating the generous living area and the
bedroom facility in one. The room has a superking bed. There
is a convenient kitchenette within the room itself that incorporates
mini bar, tea/coffee. The bathroom is new and contemporary
with shower and large super spa bath and dressing room. The
room has a patio which opens out over the fantastic Shotover
River and mountain landscapes.
Shotover River View: $550/night
PRESIDENTIAL SUITE
The very spacious and luxurious corner Presidential Suite
is our premier accommodation (ideal for VIP guests or honeymooners)
with its own private outdoor therapeutic spa pool on the deck
and dramatic views over the infamous Shotover River. This
premier suite has one large superking bedroom with dressing
table. A master bathroom with his/hers vanities, a second
spa bath and fully glazed double shower.

TWO-BEDROOM SUITES
The four Two Bedroom Suites have two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The first bedroom contains a queen bed and the second bedroom
which is internal within the apartment has a king bed that
can be split to form two singles. The main bedroom has an
ensuite bathroom with shower and the second bathroom has a
shower. The master bedroom and the lounge both look over the
Shotover River and have their own balconies.

Renowned as one of Queenstown's finest dining venues and long
reputed as serving very fine food, The Birches at Nugget is
intimate and relaxed.
At Nugget Point, our cuisine is very much part of what we are
about. Our chef combines the best of the local fare with both
traditional and innovative international selections.
Our wine cellar offers an extensive selection of New Zealand's
wonderful wines and features the award-winning wines of our
own Otago region.
The bar and lounge area are cosy, inviting and comfortable,
with welcoming large fireplaces. Summer cocktails on the terrace
