We
hope you had a wonderful 2006 and that 2007
has some good things in store for you. I'm
so glad that I read the book "Who Moved My
Cheese" because it helped me work through
some of the changes and challenges that keep
happening in our industry. If you haven't
read this gem of a Book, consider it. For
only 2 hours of your time it might just help
you through the changes in your life that
you had not planned on. As we continue to
"Move with the Cheese", we've had some really
new & rewarding experiences.
I
have been visiting New Zealand since 1990
when I first went there on my honeymoon. It
was a combo B&B and Campervan experience.
I enjoyed Black water rafting in the Waitomo
area (it's a must for everyone visiting the
North Island), camping at the Nelson Lakes
area on the South Island, and kayaking in
Marlborough Sound. Since 1991, I have been
back to New Zealand more than 10 times. My
most memorable trips included renting a camper
and fishing up the Matukituki river (South
Island), staying out at the Awaroa Lodge in
Abel Tasman Park (South Island), hiking the
areas of Franz Joseph & Fox Glaciers and
Lake Mathieson (South Island), luxury motor
yachting for 2 nights out of Auckland (loved
the birds at Tiri Tiri Matangi reserve island),
2 dream like nights at the Paratiho Lodge
(South Island-Upper Motere), and a B&B
stay on the North Island owned by Agnes and
Wallace. Some of my best friends just sold
everything in Hawaii and moved to Kaiteriteri,
Nelson region close to Abel Tasman Park on
the South Island. Just another excuse to go
down there more often.

the last quarter of 2006. 1 staff member went
to Fiji and Australia in January, 1 staff
member just got back from New Zealand, 4 from
Tahiti. We have one "Kiwi" specialist
who moved here to the Hawaiian Islands from
New Zealand and One "Aussie" in
house on staff here in our Maui office.

looking at about 90 days of experiences in

with plunge pools to the remote and little

I
turned 50 in 2004 and wandered off to Tonga
for my dream experience... Swimming/snorkeling
within feet of a mom and baby humpback whales.
It was incredible. The southern hemisphere
humpbacks go to Tonga in our summer (their
winter) which is reverse of Whale season in

I got to experience a dream vacation to Africa.
I experienced Cape Town, Zambia, Zimbabwe
and Botswana (Chobe and the Okavango Delta).
